Frequently Asked Questions
- What is Staffyou?
-
Staffyou is the online platform where employers and freelancers choose each other. Supply and demand come together on the Staffyou platform.
- What does it take to get started?
-
You must have a NIN number. You can find your NIN on your ID card, passport or driver's license if you have a British identification. Otherwise, it should be on the paperwork from when you applied for one, on letters about taxes, a P60 or a payslip.
- What hourly rate do I get?
-
At Staffyou we have a minimum hourly rate of £18*.
* Depending on the job/function/your performance, this can of course be more.
- Where can I work?
-
You decide where and when you work. Freelancers choose their own working days and times.
To make it easy for you, we have a very wide range of different clients in various industries throughout the UK. One day you can work in the hospitality industry and the next day in the delivery industry, but if you like working in one place, this is of course also allowed.
- How do I get paid?
-
After a shift worked, you submit your working hours. The client then approves these hours. We put these hours on the invoice sent by us. You do not have to prepare invoices yourself. Invoices will automatically appear in your financial overview. We always pay your invoice within the payment term of 14 days.
- Will I get a fine or a deposit?
-
At Staffyou we don't do fines or a deposit. We trust that you take responsibility yourself when you work for a client. There are of course consequences in case of no-show without a valid reason.
- Can I switch to paid employment?
-
We completely understand if you prefer to continue in paid employment. You are always welcome to join us. We are that flexible.
Corporate Social Responsibility
Staffyou stands for a just and more sustainable world. But we also believe in doing. That is why, as a corporate partner of Trees for the Future, we plant 1 tree in Africa per shift worked.
